Let me tell you about what a Penn Foster diploma has done for me. In June of 2007 I completed my Professional Bridal Consultant course from Penn Foster, earning my career diploma. Shortly after earning my diploma, I joined the Association of Bridal Consultants. My Penn Foster Diploma allowed me to qualify for Professional Bridal Consultant status within the Association. Since then, I have proudly displayed my Penn Foster diploma at bridal shows as well as my office. So many people ask me the same question: “Do you have to go to school to be a wedding planner?” My answer to them is always the same: You don’t HAVE to go to school or take a course… I CHOSE to do so as a means of expanding my knowledge and professionalism, so that I can better serve my clients. Doing so has set me apart from others in my field. I not only have the knowledge gained from this course, but I also have the advantage of displaying my Diploma. It’s an extra sign of my professionalism and lets both clients and vendors know that I am serious about my career.
