If anyone has taken the Penn Foster Medical Assisting program could you please email me at mcneillmama3@gmail.com? I was just wondering how to go about scheduling an internship for myself, and to see if it was difficult for anyone in the program to locate an internship. Also I wanted to know if the computer courses were difficult.

The Computer courses are easy and interesting. I started just last month and I am half way through with the Medical Assisting program. You are eligible to take the RMA exam throught the AMT. And after a year of work experience sit for the CMA with the AAMA. If I understant Correctly. Don't be discouraged because many medical assitants aren't certified or registered. they work dirrectly eith doctors to get training. and really there is no real difference beween RMA and CMA. The difference comes in with Associates degree and being registered or certified. People with Associates degrees are your real competition.
